Maturity and versioning

I just wanted to ask: Do you think the Trilium is ready for v1.x?

In my opinion, it does. If you disagree, please specify why.

We're pretty close, I would say.
If we keep the same development trajectory that we have right now, we might reach there by the end of the year.
One of the key aspects for v1 is that we need to ensure all big bugs are fixed.

In my use, I think that what bothers me the most is related to failures to load the content of the notes. We need to press (F5) more than once for some notes, when loading them in a new tab. I introduced Trilium to some friends who use other tools, and the comment was the same. For new users, it's not good.

It's random. I don't know exactly when and how it happens, but:

1. When I have 2 or 3 tabs open, and I open another note in yet another tab, the content only loads after I press F5.

2. In the canvas, it happens almost all the time, even when the canvas is the only note open; but I know it's an old issue. I need to press F5 to reload.

3. It's not a bug, but it's annoying: when I open another tab and start searching, Trilium tries to search as we type (which is amazing), but when you have a few hundred notes, it gets slow. For example, I currently have almost 8,000 notes inherited from Joplin and Obsidian. I know this is a special case, but it's worth considering.

Note: none of this prevents me from using Trilium. For me, who has been using free software for over 20 years, I've learned to work around various limitations. Imagine, I started with the early versions of Debian, and Blender version 2.3 back in 2004. So... these little things don't really bother me. F5 is part of my workflow. I'm just thinking about users who are "plug and play" users.

For (1) and (2), maybe you could open a bug to investigate it. Ideally while also recording it or checking the console for more context. There was a separate bug in which some splits didn't open properly. Might be worth testing on the latest nightly to confirm.
For (3), I'm surprised. 8k notes is not that big, Trilium should support much more. What hardware are running it on?
