ParseDSN incorrectly parses ':' in username as password separator #1747
The ParseDSN interface does not support parsing ':' in the username. This causes the part after the ':' in the username to be mistakenly identified as the password. How can I avoid this issue, and are there any plans to optimize the ParseDSN interface?

Use
NewConfig()instead of DSN.Its difficult. It requires breaking backward compatibility.
dsn: document that usernames with colons require NewConfig()
user option: emit clear error if username contains colon
