ubuntu-latest now resolves to ubuntu-26.04. On those runners the e2e user pods fail to mount the shared NFS volume (mount exit status 32) and Argo CD's argocd-redis never becomes ready in the rbac-bootstrap integration job.

changed the title
rpcbind and rpc.statd size a libtirpc table by RLIMIT_NOFILE. On container runtimes that pass a ~1e9 limit the allocation fails with 'clnt_dg_create: out of memory', rpcbind never registers and every NFS mount fails with exit status 32.

On Ubuntu 26.04 runners (
ubuntu-latest), containers inherit an open-file limit of ~2^31. rpcbind and rpc.statd in the NFS server size a libtirpc table by that limit, fail withclnt_dg_create: out of memory, and every NFS mount fails with exit status 32.latest.
